After horror crash
Roglic returns to training next week!
Professional cyclist Primoz Roglic will return to training next week after his crash at the Tour of the Basque Country!
As expected, the star of the German racing team Bora will not start at Fleche Wallonne (April 17) and the Monument race Liège-Bastogne-Liège (April 21), as his team announced on Friday.
"We want to give his body the time!"
"Primoz has been with us all week to treat his extensive wounds and his knee. We want to give his body the time to fully recover from these injuries, because our big goal is the Tour de France," said Dan Lorang, Head of Performance of the Bora team.
The Slovenian was involved in the serious crash at the Tour just under a week ago, in which Tour de France winner Jonas Vingegaard and time trial world champion Remco Evenepoel, among others, were seriously injured. Roglic, who was the overall leader at the time of the incident, got off lightly and suffered no broken bones. Nevertheless, he had to abandon the race.
