Harry and Meghan announce two Netflix series
Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are continuing their collaboration with the streaming service Netflix with two new projects. The couple announced two documentary series on Thursday (local time) via their production company Archewell Productions.
One series, which will be curated by Meghan, will be dedicated to lifestyle topics such as cooking, gardening, entertainment and friendships. The other project will give an insight into the world of professional polo. Harry is a fan of equestrian sports. Titles and broadcast dates for the two series are not yet known.
Deal with Netflix announced in 2020
Harry and ex-actress Meghan ("Suits") announced a deal with Netflix in 2020 for films, series and offers for children. Three series have been released since then. The documentary series "Heart of Invictus" revolves around the sports competition Harry launched for war-disabled soldiers.
The series "Harry & Meghan" about the couple's departure from the inner circle of the British royal family was a huge success. With the series "Live to Lead", they took a look at the lives of inspiring leaders.
Relationship with the royals is considered shattered
42-year-old Meghan is married to the younger son of the British King Charles III. The couple broke away from their royal duties several years ago and now live in the USA with their two children. The relationship with the royals is considered to be broken.
