Away from the swamp to the outskirts? The "Krone" newspaper reveals what alternative to the project in Klagenfurt is now being considered. The same sports pool that is currently planned for Klagenfurt Südring could be built on a 2.9-hectare site.

Many indoor swimming pool projects have been shelved over the last 20 years because no location has yet been accepted by all sides. The Südring is also shaky because the pool project with the planned underground parking garage is located in a former swamp area. A new location has therefore been secretly being worked on for many weeks - and this project sounds more promising.
