Academy boss Snurer joins Küche Burgenland

The man from Bad Tatzmannsdorf forms the new managing director duo together with Klaus Glavanics. 

Politically, the appointment of Klaus Glavanics as Managing Director of "Gästehäuser und Küchen Burgenland GmbH" has recently caused quite a stir. The ÖVP spoke of the most expensive restaurateur in the country in view of the reported annual salary of 140,000 euros.

New dual leadership
With 45-year-old Oliver Snurer - currently Managing Director of the Burgenland Football Academy - the company now has a new dual leadership. The "Gästehäuser und Küchen Burgenland GmbH" is responsible for the operation of the state's boarding schools and also supplies educational institutions with food.

Due to his many years of experience, Snurer has a great deal of business expertise and experience in running a boarding school and accommodation business, according to the managing directors of Landesholding, Hans Peter Rucker and Gerald Goger. The soccer academy is to be merged with Sport Burgenland in the first half of the year.

Beretzki takes over
Snurer will continue to manage the business until this change in the shareholder structure takes place. "After that, Anton Beretzki, Managing Director of Sport Burgenland, will also take over the management of the academy," says Provincial Councillor Heinrich Dorner. It is emphasized that the merger will save one managing director position. "I can hand over a well-structured company," says Snurer.
