Ice cop Schneider will be asked to pay
The interview Peter Schneider gave after the defeat in game three at the KAC will cost him dearly. The ice bull said that the league might not want Salzburg to become champions three times in a row. Now he has been fined for it.
Because he was not at all happy with some of the referees' decisions, Schneider made such critical comments in an interview on Puls24. Now the league has come forward: "By making the statement, which gives the appearance or accusation of bias on the part of the "league", the player has committed the offence of damaging sporting integrity in accordance with Part I | Disciplinary measures."
Schneider was fined 5000 euros for his statements (2500 euros of which are conditional). Tomorrow is game four of the final series in the Salzburg ice arena. Then the Bulls' forward wants to make positive headlines again.
