Sexual fantasies and hallucinations?
In December 2022, the doctor from southern Burgenland was sentenced to three years in prison, two of which were conditional, for allegedly sexually abusing four female patients during the recovery phase. They do not know each other. The appeal for annulment was upheld and the Supreme Court decided to retry the case. This was because a sedative administered before a gastroscopy or colonoscopy could cause sexual fantasies and hallucinations.

In this regard, the doctor's defense lawyer now said two remarkable sentences, free of value: "No pharmaceutical company wants to note that on a package insert." And: "Mrs. D. is the least willing to admit that it happened."

"It's about all women"
In any case, D. explained what was supposed to have happened. Her premise: "This is not about me! It's about all women. I don't want anything like this to happen again." Specifically, we are now talking about the fondling and sucking of the breast in a daze and, according to the prosecutor, digital penetration. "He inserted something into my vagina. I can't say whether it was a finger or a Frankfurter Würschtl. It was terrible. The woman was shaken several times by crying fits, the doctor then had to leave the room so that the trembling woman could find her words again.

The three other victims partially weakened the original accusation against the doctor. It could also be "that I just imagined it all". D. remained steadfast: "He did it in such a way that it couldn't have been the first time. I'm sure of that." The verdict is expected today, Tuesday.
