"My funniest experience in terms of beauty optimization was a few years ago when I was at the Oscars. I went to a very special beauty treatment in San Francisco: Thai women gave you slaps to tighten your face!" admitted Frauke Ludowig to "Bild".

Face-lifting on one side only
"Yes! They slap your cheek to the music. I was really on the verge of crying. And she just didn't stop! Anyway, after that I was well perfused - but only on the left side. I then said: 'Okay, let's take a short break and then we'll do the right side. But nothing came of it ...", said the 60-year-old about the bizarre beauty treatment.

Goat yoga for relaxation
Another absurd beauty treatment Ludowig underwent involved the use of animals. "I tried goat yoga in Los Angeles to relax my facial features. You stand on all fours and goats jump on top of you. Then the goats stomp on you. That was also really funny," says the presenter.
