World Championship fifth-placed Hudson plans to compete in Diamond League
Javelin thrower Victoria Hudson has received an invitation to the Diamond League meeting in Suzhou (China) on April 27. The fifth-placed athlete at the World Championships and bronze medal winner at last year's European Games is currently preparing with coach Gregor Högler in Tenerife for the season, which will bring two highlights with the European Championships in Rome and the Olympics in Paris.

The Diamond League in athletics comprises 15 stages this year, and not every discipline will be featured at every one. The women's javelin throw in Suzhou, west of Shanghai, is included in the program for the first time. On April 20, the Diamond League will kick off in Xiamen, also in China.
