This Balenciaga tape costs 3700 euros!

As we all know, taste is debatable. With the luxury brand Balenciaga, however, trends often lead to strange blossoms. This is also the case with this luxury duct tape, which costs a whopping 3700 euros.

Admittedly, we are used to quite a lot with Balenciaga. Not only can you buy price tags for 190 euros, but also plastic bags or sneakers that look like they were fished out of the trash for several thousand euros.

However, the latest highlight from the luxury label, which counts Kim Kardashian among its fans, beats everything. According to Balenciaga, one of the must-have pieces for the coming season is a bracelet called the "Gaffer Bangle".

And the name says it all: After all, it looks like the kind of sturdy and highly adhesive tape you get in DIY stores, among other places. 

Adhesive tape for 3700 euros?
There is already a lot of excitement on the Internet about the Balenciaga adhesive tape. After all, this luxury accessory has its price. How deep you have to dig into your wallet for it has not yet been revealed. However, according to the Sun, it is rumored that it could cost around 4000 US dollars, or around 3700 euros. 

Incidentally, the cheaper alternative is available from just over two euros - without the Balenciaga lettering, of course. The tenor of Instagram and TikTok users is therefore: "That's a joke, right?" And some people have already been creative and made themselves jewelry à la Balenciaga.

Whether the "Gaffer Bangle" will be a bestseller or not remains to be seen. The eye-catching accessory is part of the brand's fall/winter collection and will therefore only be available later in the year.
