After the horror crash at the Tour of the Basque Country, Primoz Roglic has now spoken out on social media for the first time. In an Instagram post, the cycling star from Slovenia shows the consequences of the accident.

Roglic addresses his fans via social media in a heavily marked state. Although he was spared serious injuries in the wild mass crash, the crash has left its mark. One of the photos shows Roglic's body from behind, covered in plasters.

"Memories of the 3rd and 4th stage of Itzulia ... I'm feeling a little better! I wish everyone a speedy recovery. See you on the road," wrote the 34-year-old.

Broken bones for Vingegaard and Evenepoel
On Thursday, the Tour of the Basque Country was overshadowed by a horror mass crash with two seriously injured top stars.

Tour de France winner Jonas Vingegaard was hit just as hard as former world champion Remco Evenepoel with a broken collarbone and several ribs. The Belgian broke his collarbone and the shoulder blade in his right arm. In contrast to his two rivals, Roglic got off lightly.
