Big “shopping spree”: thieving duo caught in Tyrol
The Tyrolean police in Schwaz were able to put a stop to a thieving duo. The two Romanian women, aged 46 and 28, struck in several stores. The value of the loot is still unclear.
The series of thefts occurred on Friday. "Between 11 a.m. and 4.45 p.m., the Schwaz police station received a report of several shopliftings in stores in the Vomp and Schwaz area," said the police. In the course of an immediate manhunt, the two Romanian women were identified as suspects.
During the search of both women, stolen goods relating to the shoplifting were seized.

"Stolen property relating to the shoplifting was seized from both women during the search of their persons." The officers also took a close look at the vehicle of the two offenders. They found "large quantities of other stolen goods". The value of the loot has not yet been determined. The Romanian women will be reported to the Innsbruck public prosecutor's office.
