Stall: Pilot crashes shortly before landing

A serious accident on Saturday afternoon in Lermoos in the Tyrolean district of Reutte! A German paraglider (48) crashed while landing. The pilot involved in the accident had to be rescued by emergency helicopter.

The incident happened at around 4 pm. The 48-year-old wanted to land his paraglider on the landing site near the Grubi lift. This probably resulted in a stall. As a result, the pilot crashed to the ground from a height of three meters.

By helicopter to hospital
The German sustained injuries on impact. Ehrwald Rescue provided first aid. The injured man was then taken to Reutte Hospital by the emergency helicopter "RK2".
