Police looking for witnesses

Offering box thieves stole over 100 euros from church

There has been another theft from an offering box in Tyrol. In Jochberg in the district of Kitzbühel, previously unknown perpetrators stole more than one hundred euros from the parish church. The police are now appealing for witnesses.

The perpetrator(s) must have struck between April 3, 10 am and April 5, 6.45 pm. By picking the padlocks of two offering boxes in the parish church of St. Wolfgang, they gained access to the cash inside - at least a three-digit euro amount. 

The identity of the thieves is still unknown. The police are therefore hoping for information from the public. Witnesses who have observed anything are asked to contact the Kitzbühel police station on 059133 7200.
