You can't normally have that much bad luck! In the district of Baden in Lower Austria, a car hit a deer between Unterwaltersdorf and Mitterndorf, which was flung away by the collision and hit a cyclist with tremendous force!

Almost unbelievable scenes unfolded at around 6.45 p.m. on Thursday on the L4043 country road between Unterwaltersdorf and Mitterndorf in the Lower Austrian district of Baden, where a man and a woman were cycling towards Unterwaltersdorf. 

Incredible accident
The driver of a BMW was driving in the opposite direction. Suddenly, several deer crossed the road and the car hit one of them. The impact hurled the animal into the oncoming lane and hit the 48-year-old cyclist, who fell to the ground seriously injured. 

Her companion and the car driver immediately administered first aid and alerted the emergency services. Paramedics from the Samaritans treated the seriously injured woman and took her to Baden Regional Hospital. The deer was probably killed instantly on impact.
