Austrian actress and mother of two Birgit Minichmayr has provided deep insights into her emotional pregnancy.

In an interview with the "Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung", the 47-year-old spoke openly about her selective role offers and her changed media consumption in this special phase of her life.

"There was once a script that I actually turned down because of my personal situation - a script about an abortion," she said. "Because I was just about to get pregnant."

Her choice of films and series during this time was also heavily influenced by her feelings. 

"When it came to movies, I was highly sensitive during my pregnancy. Back then, I started watching 'Dark', the Netflix series. I had to turn that off."

Minichmayr then found entertainment in cooking shows and the popular comedy series "Modern Family". Shows that "enveloped her in a cozy sense of well-being".

Minichmayer became the mother of twin girls in January 2018 and is now successfully back in front of the camera.

In her current feature film "Andrea Gets a Divorce" by Josef Hader, she delights audiences with her acting talent and unique charm.
