Biker hits senior citizen who tried to stop him

He wanted to give a warning, and that cost a pensioner dearly: A biker, who was supposed to slow down, hit the 74-year-old in Hofkirchen im Traunkreis on the lower leg with his bike. The speeding driver committed a hit-and-run and the injured senior citizen was taken to hospital.

The 74-year-old was chatting with two friends outside his house in Hofkirchen im Traunkreis at around 6.25 p.m. on Thursday when a motorcyclist suddenly sped towards them at far too high a speed. The senior citizen stood at the side of the road and signaled the biker to slow down by waving his arms.

Pensioner grazed on lower leg
As he drove past, the 74-year-old was grazed on his lower right leg by the motorcycle. The biker drove on towards the center of Hofkirchen without stopping. The injured senior citizen was taken to the Kepler University Hospital in Linz.
