The sports facility in the state capital is being expanded to include a paddle tennis court. The start is in May. What visitors can expect and when the facility can be tested.

The trend sport of padel tennis is also becoming increasingly popular in Austria. The game, which can be described as a mixture of squash and tennis, is played on smaller courts than tennis and with short rackets. It is played at a professional level, particularly in countries such as Mexico, Argentina and Spain.

Start in May
The Eisenstadt district of St. Georgen will also soon have the opportunity to play this sport. A padel tennis court is currently being added to the tennis club's existing facility. The new court will be available to all interested parties from May. In addition to opening offers, there will also be rackets and balls for hire.
