Bear on her travels
Thousands bid farewell to panda “Fu Bao” in Seoul
Thousands of people flocked to a theme park in South Korea to bid farewell to panda "Fu Bao", who is to find a new home in China.
The almost four-year-old bear named "Fu Bao" was the first giant panda to be born in a South Korean zoo following natural fertilization.
On Wednesday, the animal was transferred to a breeding program in China in accordance with an agreement on the conservation of endangered species.
The animal was picked up by a vibration-free transport vehicle, on which its photo could be seen. After the flight to China, it will be taken to the breeding and research facility for giant pandas in Chengdu.

Pictures showed crying people saying goodbye to "Fu Bao" at the Everland amusement park south of Seoul.
"Fu Bao" was fathered by a panda cub that was given to South Korea as part of China's "panda diplomacy". The three bears are therefore the property of China.
