Real keeper Thibaut Courtois has become a dad

The family happiness is perfect. After Thibaut Courtois and Mishel Gerzig tied the knot in the summer, their first child together has now been born. The couple shared a photo on Instagram showing daughter Ellie's little hand. 

"Welcome to the world, our little Ellie! We love you so much," the couple shared the sweet news. According to the post, the baby was born on March 30 and is Gerzig and Courtois' first child together; the Belgian was already a father of two from a previous relationship.

In sporting terms, however, things are going less well for the 31-year-old. Courtois has been absent from the "royals" since August due to a cruciate ligament rupture, and the goalkeeper recently suffered a meniscus tear and will probably not be back between the posts until the summer. At least he will have plenty of time with his family and their youngest member before his comeback ...
