An employment relationship in the district of Neusiedl am See did not end well. The matter finally ended up in court

An employee who worked for a company in the district of Neusiedl am See did not receive a salary from his employer for six months. Not only that, but the man was also dismissed without notice. The employer had simply ignored the statutory notice period. When the employee sought help from the Chamber of Labor, the employer went one better: he claimed that the employee had caused damage amounting to more than 100,000 euros. He was therefore not prepared to pay the outstanding wages.

Successful in court
With the support of AK-Rechtsschutz, the employee finally went to court and sued for payment of the wages. However, the employer, whose company restores old vehicles, was unable to prove at the hearing that the employee had caused the damage he claimed. The verdict was therefore in favor of the employee, who was pleased to receive payment of the outstanding wages. In total, the Chamber of Labor was able to obtain 12,215 euros for the man.
