“Easter lamb” offspring at the Innsbruck Alpine Zoo

Two lambs saw the light of day at the Innsbruck Alpine Zoo in mid-March. The cute twin black-nosed sheep are known as the "Easter lamb" offspring.

Easter lamb offspring were born before Easter, on March 19 to be precise. The twin black-nosed sheep born on this day are housed in the zoo's show barn, where they have company from other young animals, such as stone sheep and Pinzgau cattle.

In general, the Alpine Zoo is currently teeming with young animals: Bearded vulture chicks and the offspring of the little grebes can also be found there, the Alpine Zoo announced in a press release.
