Fourth year gone by: catering business insolvent

The company was founded in 2021, but insolvency proceedings have now been opened for the assets of "aranga GmbH", formerly Lendring GmbH in Villacher Straße in Klagenfurt. One of the reasons: COFAG demanded money back. However, the restaurant remains open as normal. 

According to the Alpenländische Kreditorenverband, 30 creditors and eight employees are affected by the insolvency. The liabilities amount to around 497,000 euros. This compares to assets of just 80,500 euros. A restructuring procedure without self-administration is being sought. The creditors are being offered a quota of 20 percent. 

The cause of the insolvency is said to be the massive increase in running costs for staff, energy and suppliers and the fact that the subsidy of around EUR 70,000 granted by COFAG has been reclaimed. Negotiations with COFAG have failed and the debtor is now insolvent.
