Mass brawl at Praterstern: men in hospital

Just a few minutes after the international match against Turkey, a mass brawl broke out at Vienna's Praterstern on Tuesday. According to the police, 17 brawlers are currently known, but it remains to be investigated whether there were more. Four men had to be taken to hospital.

The victory of the Austrian national team must have been a source of anger for one or two fans on Tuesday: around 17 people got into a brawl on the Praterstern grounds at around 10.55 pm. 

Man discovered on the ground with a head wound
When the police arrived, a 22-year-old man was discovered lying on the ground with a head wound. Another man (32) stated that he had been injured in the face by a pepper spray. A total of five people were injured in the brawl - four of them even had to go to hospital. Further investigations are underway.

At least after the international match, things remained relatively calm at the Reumannplatz fan hotspot, according to the police.
