Country bus goes astray in Liechtenstein
There was an accident involving a country bus in the Principality of Liechtenstein, just over the border with Vorarlberg. The driver of the bus lost control of her vehicle on Monday morning and left the road.
At 7.50 a.m. on Monday morning, the driver of a country bus wanted to turn left off a road in Liechtenstein. She stopped the bus due to oncoming traffic. The woman must have suddenly encountered problems when she started off, as she lost control of the vehicle on the bend.
The bus went over the left edge of the road and drove over the beginning of the sloping meadow area. The bus finally came to a standstill in the middle of a housing estate. Fortunately, there were no passengers on board at the time, but the driver was injured in the crash and had to be taken to hospital. In addition to the towing service, the Mauren fire department was also involved in the complex recovery operation.
