Assassin: “I was promised 1 million roubles”
The Russian secret service FSB published several videos on Saturday afternoon showing the suspected perpetrators. They are pushed to the ground by police officers and interrogated. One of them explains that he was promised a lot of money for the attack.
When asked, "What did you do at Crocus yesterday?", the suspected assassin answers with the words "shoot", "people" and "for money". He also said that he was contacted via Telegram and promised "about a million rubles" for "killing people".
The suspect claimed that he had been influenced by a "preacher" in a Telegram channel.
US terror experts suspect the IS offshoot from Afghanistan "Islamic State Khorasan Province" (ISKP) as the main suspect for the attack. However, there is no evidence of this, writes "The Guardian".
