Drunk man from Villach attacked by youths

Because he said he was drunk, a man from Villach (62) stopped for a short break in the town on Saturday night. During this time, he was attacked by youths. 

The 62-year-old stated that he had rested briefly at Burgplatz in Villach at around 1.15 a.m. due to his intoxication and had sat down on the ground. "A short time later, a group of young lads arrived. They hit him for no apparent reason. When he was lying on the ground, the suspects kicked him several times in the head," said the police. 

The 62-year-old was taken to Villach Regional Hospital with undetermined injuries. A manhunt for the youths has so far been unsuccessful. The investigation is ongoing.
