E-cigarette: alternative or hidden danger?

E-cigarettes are a hotly debated topic. For some, they are a good alternative to conventional cigarettes, while others see them as a new threat to public health. So-called vapes use a heat source to vaporize a liquid that is then inhaled. 

It usually contains nicotine like regular cigarettes, but eliminates harmful by-products of smoking. However, there are concerns about the long-term effects.
