Müllauer finishes second in the World Cup final in Silvaplana

Ski freestyler Lukas Müllauer celebrated his best result of the season and the second World Cup podium finish of his career at the World Cup finale on Sunday. 

In the self-declared "favorite slopestyle" of Silvaplana (Switzerland), however, the Tyrolean did not have to take to the slopes at all because the wind conditions made a competition impossible. This meant that Friday's qualification result came into play, with Müllauer only finishing behind local hero Andri Ragettli.

In the Slopestyle World Cup ranking, Müllauer finished in twelfth place, with victory going to the US American Mac Forehand, who was ranked fifth in Silvaplana.
