Florian Liegl succeeds Mario Stecher

41-year-old Tyrolean Florian Liegl succeeds Mario Stecher as Sports Director of Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined at the Austrian Ski Association. 

The former world-class ski jumper and current head coach of the second training group will take over his predecessor's previous tasks in the Nordic area when he becomes the new sports director.

During his time as an active athlete, Liegl achieved several top placings in the World Cup, including eight podium places and a World Cup victory in ski flying at Kulm in February 2003.
