"Lost eight kilos"
Now it is also clear why, as Ramos told the Portuguese newspaper "Record": "December was a complicated month for me. It started with a virus, which later turned into an intestinal infection. I bled and vomited for 20 days, couldn't eat and had a very high fever.
"I had to go to hospital four or five times and was put on a drip. I lost eight kilos. This misfortune didn't exactly help me get used to life in France." As a result, he had to start from scratch in January, "which wasn't easy".
Regular player with Mbappé's departure?
Ramos is now feeling better again and his performances are improving. He has been back on the pitch regularly since February under coach Luis Enrique. He played in seven league games (312 minutes) and scored three goals. However, he is not yet a regular. With Kylian Mbappé's possible move to Real Madrid in the summer, however, this "problem" should also be solved...
