Surveillance camera films brutal kidnapping
A surveillance camera in West Yorkshire in England has filmed a brutal kidnapping in broad daylight. Several men dragged a man into a van in a residential area and then sped off with their victim.
The abduction took place on March 6 at around 11 am. The local resident, whose CCTV camera recorded the abduction, told Yorkshire Live: "I was completely shocked when I saw it. I felt guilty as I had been at home at the time and thought I heard someone moaning...". However, he assumed that it had been an argument.
Resident called police: incident was "very frightening"
"It was only when I looked at the footage again that I realized what had happened and I called the police immediately. If I hadn't been at home and watched it again, no one would have known it had happened - it's very scary," said the witness.
"The victim suffered injuries to his jaw and ribs," the police reported. The man has since been found. No further details were revealed. A 28-year-old suspect has since been arrested, the media reported. In order to track down the other perpetrator, the police asked the public for help.
