Unmasking play awaits in Kobersdorf

"The Servant of Two Masters" this year at the Schloss-Spiele Kobersdorf.

Parodic wit and poetic power await visitors to the Schloss-Spiele in Kobersdorf this summer. "The Servant of Two Masters" is the 20th production to be staged under the artistic direction of Wolfgang Böck. The story is by Carlo Goldoni and was rewritten by playwright Peter Turrini.

Unmasking
The masks are relics of a bygone era. As the action is set on the last day of the carnival, they can retain their function as a theatrical means of "unmasking". Böck appears on stage as transport entrepreneur Sansuga Sacchi, while Nico Dorigatti will play the eponymous servant. As with Nestroy's "Mädl aus der Vorstadt" in 2019, Beverly Blankenship will once again direct the production, with Erich Uiberlacker responsible for the set design.

Most of the tickets already gone
Anyone who wants tickets for the event should snap them up soon: more than 60 percent of the 13,600 tickets issued are already gone. The premiere is on July 2, with performances running until July 28. The popular biker and classic car rides will also take place again this year.
