Sports fair before the final
The super offer is also accepted in Ried
The second day of the sports fair in Ried im Innkreis was also very popular. In addition to the many activities on offer such as basketball, ice hockey, rugby and a ninja course, the children's races were also a big hit. The races for adults and company groups followed on Sunday.
"With all the runners, we are expecting a total of between 10,000 and 15,000 visitors, which is the same number as before Corona. That's a great thing, of course," says fair director Helmut Slezak, drawing a very positive conclusion before today's final day of the sports fair in Ried im Innkreis presented by the "Krone". Particularly pleasing: in addition to the rush to the 50 or so stations such as basketball, ice hockey, rugby and a ninja course, the children's races held on Saturday were also a complete success. "We were fully booked up to the last place. You can see that when the offer is there, it's accepted," said Slezak, delighted with the many children who enjoyed the sport.
500 runners at the start
This is extremely important, especially in this day and age. And the adults also take the kids as role models, as around 500 athletes take part in the four and ten-kilometer Löffler Messeläufe on Sunday. There are also 3-person company runs. The start is at 11.30 am in front of the FACC Sky Dome, and the trade fair itself is open to visitors from 10 am to 5 pm.
