The little messenger is now sleeping well again
Would you have known? Today, March 15, is "World Sleep Day". And this is of course a very important topic! We parents know it in a very special way - if you have children, you appreciate sleep in a completely different way!
The tiredness that arises when you sleep too little for months or years, or are repeatedly torn from sleep, is like torture. The result is bad days: your mood is in the cellar, your "patience thread" is often only a few millimetres long and your health and immune system are also taking a clear hit.
We mothers are world champions at carrying, singing and accompanying our children to sleep and lose sight of ourselves in the process. There are a few tips that can help immediately to improve this. First of all, it is important to follow your own biorhythm - owl or lark? - and to live according to it. If you need to sleep early, you should consistently go to bed early several times a week.
So it's best to close your laptop hours beforehand and turn off your smartphone. A small notebook next to the bed is great if an idea suddenly arises or a thought can't wait until tomorrow. It's easier to sleep when it's written down. Fresh air, a book, tea or warm milk - whatever is needed at the moment, we know best ourselves.
With this in mind: have a good, restful night!
