Dutch soccer fans came to blows in Tyrol

Wild scenes took place in Tyrol on Thursday evening! A brawl broke out between Dutch soccer fans in front of the Dorfbahn valley station in Gerlos in Zillertal. Among other things, the opponents hit each other with ski poles and skis.

The wild mass brawl broke out at around 6 pm. "Two masked Dutch-speaking men attacked a group of around ten Dutch people and then fled," said the police.

One Dutchman and an uninvolved passer-by were seriously injured. "They were treated as outpatients", according to the police.

Ski equipment damaged
Ski equipment was also used and damaged during the fracas, resulting in damage of several hundred euros. According to the current state of the investigation, the motive for the altercation was probably the rivalry between Dutch soccer fans.
