Borealis CEO Gangl to leave at the end of June 2024

Thomas Gangl, CEO of Borealis AG since April 1, 2021, will leave the company at the end of June 2024.
This is due to conflicts between OMV CEO Alfred Stern and the head of the OMV subsidiary Borealis. Dissonance is said to exist in relation to delays and cost overruns.
Gangl is leaving the company in agreement with the Supervisory Board.
