"Dirty details"
Baldwin furious after Stone’s wild sex revelation
"After all these years, is she still mad that I rebuffed her advances?" A gentleman keeps quiet, but Billy Baldwin's "Basic Instinct" is to hit back at Sharon Stone's revelations. The actress had revealed that the legendary Robert Evans tried to get her to have sex with her "Sliver" co-star in 1993 - "in the hope that Billy's acting would improve that way".
The second youngest of the four Baldwin brothers then shot back sharply on X: "I'm not sure why Sharon Stone is talking about me after all these years."
To then even threaten: "I know so many sordid details about her it would make her dizzy. So far I've kept my mouth shut. But now I wonder if it wouldn't be fun to write a book too - with lots of shocking, perverse and unprofessional stories about Sharon."
Stone should "go to bed" with Baldwin
In the podcast with Louis Theroux, the 66-year-old spoke about a passage from her autobiography "The Beauty of Living Twice". In it, she never mentioned the name of the producer who had pressured her on set to have sex with a colleague. Stone made up for this in the podcast and outed Evans, who died in 2019.
The former boss of Paramount Studios, who had produced hit films such as "The Godfather" and "Love Story", was dissatisfied with the quality of the filming of "Sliver" in 1993. Stone: "He marched up and down his office wearing sunglasses and told me that he had once slept with Ava Gardner. Then he said that I should go to bed with Billy Baldwin. Because if I slept with Billy Baldwin, then Billy's performance in front of the camera would also improve."
Stone also revealed that she actually wanted another leading man by her side and that Evans had pushed Baldwin (who later won the Golden Raspberry for "Sliver" as "Worst Actor of the Year") on her.
Baldwin didn't want to kiss Stone
Baldwin fired back further: "I also had a legendary meeting with Bob Evans. I begged him to rewrite the final sex scene so I wouldn't have to kiss Sharon."
The 61-year-old then hinted again that Stone was desperate to seduce him: "Didn't she say to her friend Janice Dickinson the day after our first test shoot, 'I'm going to make him fall so hard for me that his head will explode!"
