Lisa Hirner from Styria finished seventh at the Nordic Combined World Cup in Oslo on Thursday!
After a three-week break from competition, the 20-year-old landed at 90.5 meters on the Midtstuen, 1:44 minutes behind the leading local hero Mari Leinan Lund (99.5). The overall World Cup leader Ida Marie Hagen is already 1:20 minutes behind in third place. The cross-country race over 5 kilometers will not take place until Saturday (1:30 pm).
"I'm a bit disappointed!"
"I'm a bit disappointed, 1:44 is really a lot. I had really good jumps in training, now it's time to tick that off and get fit for Saturday", said Hirner on ORF. Hagen has a lead of 120 points over defending champion Gyda Westvold Hansen ahead of the penultimate competition of the season, who goes into the track in second place, 21 seconds behind.
Annalena Slamik (87 m) in twelfth place is 2:20 minutes behind, Claudia Purker (75/+4:25) is in 27th place out of 30 participants at the halfway point.
