Olav Kooij wins stage 5 of Paris-Nice!

Dutchman Olav Kooij won the 5th stage of the Paris-Nice cycling race on Thursday! 

The 22-year-old Visma pro won after 4:23:44 hours in a bunch sprint after 193.5 kilometers from Saint-Sauveur-de-Montagut to Sisteron ahead of the Dane Mads Pedersen (Lidl) and the German Pascal Ackermann (Israel).

Kooij had already won the first stage.

Felix Gall crossed the finish line in 75th place
The Australian Luke Plapp (Jayco) remains in the leader's jersey, 13 seconds ahead of the Colombian Santiago Buitrago (Bahrain).

Felix Gall crossed the finish line at the same time as the winner in 75th place. This did not change his eleventh place overall, the East Tyrolean is 1:02 minutes behind Plapp.
