Burglars clear out electronics store

This coup must have paid off handsomely: Unknown burglars stole numerous electronic items, including 70 cell phones, from a store in Lienz in East Tyrol.

The police know several details about the case from a surveillance video: According to the video, three unknown perpetrators broke into the store in Murchargasse in Lienz at 1.53 a.m. on Tuesday. The thieves stole around 70 smartphones, two laptops, three Smartwatches and a pair of earpods. A mid-four-figure sum of cash was also stolen from the store's till.

High damage
According to investigations, the total damage amounts to a mid five-digit euro sum, i.e. several tens of thousands of euros. Any witnesses to the theft are asked to contact the Lienz police on 059133/7230.
