The future of world champion Pecco Bagnaia has been decided

It is now official: MotoGP World Champion Francesco Bagnaia has extended his contract with Ducati and will ride for the Italians until at least 2026.

"We are pleased to announce that Ducati and Francesco Bagnaia will remain together for another two years," the racing team announced on its social media channels.

Will the hat-trick succeed?
After two years with Pramac Ducati, "Pecco" switched to the factory team in 2021, where he was crowned world champion in 2022 and 2023. And he will also tackle the title on the Desmosedici in 2024.

How good his chances are will become clear for the first time on Saturday, when the first world championship points are awarded in the sprint race in Qatar.
