Check in dance club: 13 people caught

During a special inspection by the City of Vienna with the police, financial police, MA 59 and the AMS, 13 undeclared employees were discovered in a dance club in Vienna-Floridsdorf. In addition to numerous charges, two people were arrested.

13 undeclared workers were discovered by officers of the City of Vienna in a dance club in Vienna-Floridsdorf last Saturday night.

This resulted in the same number of charges under the General Social Insurance Act and five further charges under the Unemployment Insurance Act. Two arrests were also made under the Aliens Act and two charges were filed under the Aliens Employment Act.

Seven businesses inspected
There was a further charge of unauthorized trade and five charges were brought by municipal department 59 (MA 59 market office).

The police, the financial police, MA 59 and the Public Employment Service (AMS) were involved in the focus in Floridsdorf by the City of Vienna's operations team under the leadership of the Emergency Measures Group. Seven restaurants and nightclubs were inspected in the course of the checks. According to a city spokesperson, there were no red-light bars among them.
