Charlie Wurz 16th on Formula 3 debut in Bahrain

Charlie Wurz finished 16th in the Formula 3 season opener at the Bahrain Grand Prix on Saturday. The 18-year-old from the Swiss team Jenzer made his F3 debut on the race track in Sakhir, where the son of ex-Formula 1 driver Alexander Wurz also started from 16th place. British driver Luke Browning (Hitech Pulse-Eight) took the win. Wurz had finished 19th in the sprint on Friday.

Formula 3 races are held at ten venues as part of the Formula 1 supporting program and offer an excellent platform for young drivers to compete with the top talents of roughly the same age on their way to the premier class.
