Dreier becomes a repeat offender in Schladming

Jubilee day for Austria! At the Ski Mountaineering World Cup in Schladming, Salzburg's Sarah Dreier was able to celebrate a home victory in the vertical competition, just like last year. Behind the Pinzgau native, hostess Johanna Hiemer finished in second place. 

Sarah Dreier becomes a repeat offender! After her victory in 2023, the 28-year-old won the vertical race again this year on the Planai in Schladming. And Austria even had double reason to celebrate, with Johanna Hiemer taking second place.

Right from the start, the two teammates marched away at the front. Around halfway through the race, Dreier was then able to pull away a little and confidently brought the lead home.
