"Extreme added value"
Quick analysis of the Bulls takes place in the grass cinema
Innovation in training at soccer champions Red Bull Salzburg: coach Gerhard Struber and his staff now use a television on the edge of the pitch. The move has gone down well with the players.
Almost 20 Bulls gather around a screen at the training ground. You could almost assume that they are watching TV or have converted the pitch into a grass cinema. That's not entirely wrong, even if the action is purely professional and not private in nature and only serves the sporting progress.
Specifically, it is about Gerhard Struber and his coaching staff bringing forward the video analysis and making corrections during a session.
"Extreme added value"
"The immediate feedback has an extreme added value," explains the head coach when asked by Krone. "You can quickly get to the heart of the matter and discuss some of the things you work on in training." In a few weeks, there will even be a further expansion stage, which will be even more mobile.
The innovative idea has been very well received by the players. "We have everything in our heads right away," says Maurits Kjaergaard, who is a big fan of instant video analysis. "We can see what's good or bad straight away and don't have to wait until an hour later. That's really great!"
