Mass brawl in Tyrol: 28-year-old unconscious
Wild scenes took place on Wednesday night in Sölden, Tyrol (Imst district): During a mass brawl, a 28-year-old German was knocked out by a stranger. He stumbled over the edge of a sidewalk, hit the back of his head on the asphalt and lay unconscious for a short time. The perpetrator fled.
At around 11.40 pm, several people came to blows in the "Marco's Treff" bar in Sölden for unknown reasons. The brawl ended fatally for a 28-year-old. "An unknown person punched him in the face, causing the man to stumble over the edge of a sidewalk", according to the police.
Hospitalized with serious head injuries
The German man unfortunately hit the back of his head on the asphalt and remained unconscious. "The man sustained serious injuries to his head", said the investigators. The as yet unknown perpetrator fled immediately after the attack. Passers-by provided first aid and set the rescue chain in motion. The man was taken to Innsbruck Hospital after first aid by the emergency services.
