After the double murder of a woman and her 13-year-old daughter, the husband and father, who had been missing since the two bodies were found, has now been discovered. He was found hanged in a forest on Slovenian territory the day after the bloody deed.

He is believed to have hanged himself in a forest on Slovenian territory. According to police spokeswoman Barbara Gass, the body was discovered last Saturday, one day after the bloodbath in Vienna.

However, the man had no identification papers with him, so the Slovenian authorities only identified the suicide victim on Tuesday. No reliable information is available on the possible motives of the suspect.

Disappeared without a trace
The man had been considered an urgent suspect by investigators since the two bodies were found on Friday, but had disappeared without a trace. According to information from "Krone", he probably left for Slovenia via Styria the day after the crime and executed himself there.

The bodies of the two women were found in the family's apartment in Erdbergstraße on Friday.
