Bathers were able to rescue and resuscitate a boy (7)

He wasn't wearing flotation devices - and his parents obviously weren't paying attention either. A boy (7) had to be resuscitated in the Schörgenhubbad in Linz on Saturday morning. A bather had noticed that the boy had gone under in the pool and had not resurfaced. The little boy was taken to the children's hospital.

The seven-year-old was swimming in the Schörgenhubbad in Linz. He slid down a slide into the pool without his flotation device. A bathing guest noticed that the boy did not surface after he landed in the pool. He pulled the unconscious child out of the water.

Boy responsive again
The bather and a woman immediately began resuscitation. Fortunately, the 7-year-old quickly regained consciousness. The lifeguard also looked after the child until the emergency services arrived. The responsive boy was taken to the Kepler University Hospital in Linz accompanied by an emergency doctor.
