Rapper causes mega crowd in front of Viennese hairdresser

There was great excitement on Tuesday evening in Vienna-Favoriten in Laxenburger Straße: a huge crowd formed in front of a hairdressing salon. The reason for the commotion is said to be a rapper from Vienna. The police had to intervene. 

Tens of young people gathered in front of the Viennese hairdresser Viva on Tuesday evening. But not for a new haircut. Rapper Shabab, who comes from Vienna, was in the salon.

The aspiring artist wrote "State of emergency" in a story he posted on the Instagram platform.

Police had to break up the gathering
A number of young people tried to get Shabab's autograph in front of the hairdresser's doors (see video above). But the gathering got bigger and bigger, and traffic was also obstructed. In the end, the police had to intervene and break up the fan meeting in Laxenburger Straße. According to the Vienna Police Department, there was no danger, the police only ensured that the situation did not escalate. The operation is still ongoing.
