The red chaos days are going into overtime. While SPÖ leader Andreas Babler wants to push ahead with non-profit housing, his own state party does not want to rule out a possible political pact with Herbert Kickl after the election, even when asked. What revolutions Babler is calling for in the housing sector and how a black-red coalition could turn out.
Almost a year ago, Hans Peter Doskozil challenged the then SPÖ leader Pamela Rendi-Wagner to a ballot in a letter to the party executive. At the end of the process, Andreas Babler was the laughing third and the new SPÖ leader. Around eight months after the red drama surrounding the leadership of the party was decided, the party is anything but united in terms of content.
